Glamorganshire's Mark Lewis followed up his morning 75 with a level Par round in the afternoon to take the Neath Bell from holder Brent O'Neill (Radyr).
Difficult conditions, particularly in the morning made for some high scoring and CSS was 75 and Reductions only both for Home and away players. Luke Thomas (Vale) produced the low round of 73 with Mark second on 75.
It was this 75 that paved the way for Mark's win as last year's winner made a spirited defence with an afternoon 71 to add to his morning 78.for 149. With morning leader Luke Thomas falling away with an 82 Lewis returned level ar 72 to win the Bell by 2. Craig Melding returned two constent rounds to finish best Neath player on 149, th last year's OOM winner Mike Hearne fouth some way back on 155.
